The American Still Life: Two Centuries of Timeless Tradition exhibition captures more than 200 years of the timeless appeal of American still life paintings—from 19th c. old-master style floral arrangements and fruit-laden table tops to trompe l’oeil (“deceive the eye”) works, as well as contemporary interpretations.
