Landscape painting discussion, Q&A

Erik Koeppel & Lauren Sansaricq hosted a standing-room-only gallery talk on March 8, 2015, in the Upstairs Gallery at New Hampshire Antique Co-op, followed by a wine & cheese reception. A full house enjoyed an engaging talk by Erik Koeppel and Lauren Sansaricq, leaders in a movement of young painters seeking to revive the methods of the White Mountain School. The artists discussed the visual style that the White Mountain School artists used to reach their audience. They also covered the principles of this historic genre and how those principles have influenced their own work. An active Q&A session followed.

This gallery talk was held in conjunction with Koeppel & Sansaricq's painting exhibit at NHAC The Glory of the White Mountains: The Landscapes of Lauren Sansaricq and Erik Koeppel, on view in the Tower Gallery October 1, 2014 - March 31, 2015.
